The First Day of School
Well, we got the tornado of supplies sorted and semi-organized today. Your children listened to the book, "First Day Jitters," and reviewed characters, setting, and plot. I bet if you ask them, they could tell you all about it ;)
The classes were introduced to their daily Literacy Stations. During this 40 minute block, they will be in Read to Self, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Independent Practice.
Your children are so well-behaved! They welcomed be so warmly today, and they definitely eased MY first day jitters.
